I always keep Bluetooth off, and this seems to cause the AirTags to beep randomly inside the house. Yes, airtags use bluetooth for tracking so you need to keep it on all the time. I can’t even see a reason to turn Bluetooth off. There hasn’t been a reason to keep Bluetooth off for like 10 years.It will still beep. I’ve verified this with three devices, two AirTags and one Knog Scout, all registered to Person A’s Find My. The two that reside in an underground garage and never come within range of Person A’s devices always beep when moved.
